The Les Arcs ski area passes through four Arcs: 1800, 1600, 1950, and 2000. The lifts move skiers quickly to the top of what seems to be endless miles of runs in the resort for all levels of skiers. Les Arcs offers a resort that has wonderful Alpine architecture, excellent restaurants, and superb terrain for skiers and snowboarders. The nearby resort of La Plagne is also accessible and makes this area one of the largest ski areas in all of the world.

Arc 1800, 1600, and 2000 all share a unique modernist 1970’s style whilst Arc 1950 is the most modern with a charming Alpine style. Les Arcs was also the place were European snowboarding became popularised as well as the use of short skis for teaching. The resort is ideal for beginners with over 50% of the slopes dedicated to those just starting and the remaining slopes for those more advanced.
