Roddy Doyle’s bestselling novel “The Commitments” is a now a smash hit musical playing at the Palace Theatre in London’s West End. The musical is based upon a group of Irish youths who find their love of soul music as a means of redemption and try to become “the finest soul act in Dublin.”
