The award winning play based on Mark Haddon’s best-selling novel comes to life on stage at the Gielgud Theatre in London. The play has in its short history already won 7 Olivier Awards including “Best New Play” and is directed by Marianne Elliot.
The play is based on Christopher John Francis Boone, a 15-year-old boy who describes himself as “a mathematician with some behavioural difficulties” living in Swindon, Wiltshire. The young boy’s neighbour’s dog is killed, speared by a garden fork, and Christopher becomes the primary suspect and Christopher undertakes a long journey to prove his innocence.
